Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at individuals working in the security industry. There are 4 possible pathways that learners can follow: general, CCTV, static and patrol guarding and door supervision. It forms the competency component of the Apprenticeship in Providing Security Services.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake between 138 and 177 hours of learning, depending on their unit choices.

Searches of people and their property
Searches of vehicles for unauthorised item
Control entry to and egress from premises and deal with disorderly and aggressive behaviour.
This qualification can be assessed by a portfolio of evidence.
